Dear Friends in Christ,

Lutheran Church of the Servant is a community of forgiven sinners who have been called together by Jesus Christ and now seek to live a new life of grace, mercy and service with the power of God through the Holy Spirit.  We are not a perfect church.  We are not a perfect people.  Rather we simply believe that all people, rich or poor, old or young, well-educated or educated well by the school of hard knocks are in need of the gifts that only God gives.  These gifts include but are not limited to forgiveness, healing, peace, strength, hope and faith.  In short we are in need of the gifts God gives freely in Jesus Christ.

We are a community that is deeply rooted in God’s Word and in the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.  We are a community committed to following our risen Savior Jesus Christ trusting that He will empower us to the new life that gets lived out in the midst of the complex questions and dynamic themes we experience at the intersections of faith and daily life.  We are also a community that seeks to seize the opportunity to bear witness to Jesus Christ in our daily living because we are confident in God’s grace that says to all, “There is a place for you in this church.”

We invite you to “Come and see!
